MILLBURY — Asa Waters Task Force approves foundation restoration bid and landscaping contract. The seven-member task force voted to accept a bid from Village Green Restoration for foundation work out of eight submitted proposals ranging from $68,000 to $134,000, with state funding of $50,000 subject to 50/50 matching. Katherine McKenna moved unanimous approval of a $2,600 landscaping estimate from Brenda Goodwin, and the task force agreed to try a monthly $355 cleaning service on trial.
The group also engaged grant writer Jeff Busha to design a commercial kitchen and discussed utilizing remaining 2023 warrant article funds for HVAC mini-split preparation.
