Board discusses restaurants, property complaints, permit renewals

MILLBURY — Board of Health addresses restaurant permits and escalates property complaint. Director of Public Health Julie Van Arsdalen reported that food plan reviews have been completed for proposed restaurants at 70 Worcester Providence Turnpike, with Wonder expected to open next, while food and tobacco permit renewals are also being processed. A vacant property at 11 Captain Peter Simpson Road has drawn complaints of rodent infestation and trash.

The board conducted a site visit with Vice Chair Ronald J Marlborough and escalated the matter to the Town Manager's office.
