MILLBURY — Board of Fire Engineers approves new recruit and inspector appointments. Chief Mark Strom's board unanimously appointed Dalani Ramos to recruit training and Chris Bruinsma as part-time inspector at the March 2 meeting. The board approved speaker installation ($1,353.38), air drops ($6,500), and a storage shed ($2,750), and authorized a first-due bag for Engine 6 and Rescue.
A $1.5 million radio study is headed to warrant, and the back-up repeater is now connected at Station 2 pending dispatcher wiring completion.
