Millbury fire engineers approve part-time inspector and open superintendent role. The Board of Fire Engineers voted to pay the new part-time inspector $1,500 monthly at 10 to 15 hours weekly, with candidate interviews scheduled for February 23; Chief Mark Strom's board also unanimously opened a Fire Alarm Superintendent position for fiscal 2027. The board approved purchase of a new printer with a service contract and an additional medical bag for Rescue 1.
A budget meeting with the Finance Committee is set for February 11 at 6:30 p.m.
