Board of Fire Engineers Approves Two Recruit Appointments, Budget Meeting Scheduled

MILLBURY — The Millbury Board of Fire Engineers unanimously appointed Jason Jumper and Samantha Mastrogiacomo as recruits and approved Firefighter Tyler Mullaly to operate Tower 1. Chief Mark Strom, 1st Assistant Jason Cadrin, and 3rd Assistant Robert Silver, Jr. conducted the meeting with two members absent. A budget discussion with the Finance Committee is scheduled for February 11 at 6:30 p.m. to address updated utility bills, an elevator contractor, and Federal Disaster Identification Class expenses.
Assistant Chief Silver is comparing bids on CO meter sensor calibration after receiving a $6,550 quote from Howse Corp.
