Board of Health approves prior minutes, addresses flu activity.

MILLBURY — The Millbury Board of Health unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and heard communicable disease updates. Public Health Nurse Julie VanArsdalen reported H3N2 flu activity at high levels in Massachusetts and urged vaccination and isolation for symptomatic residents. The Director of Public Health announced that approximately 1,000 Waste and Septic Haulers permits expire March 31, 2026, with renewal reminders forthcoming, and provided a food plan review status update for a proposed establishment at 70 Worcester Providence Turnpike.

The Board requested the Transfer Station be placed on the February 11 agenda for discussion.
