Board of Health approves prior minutes, discusses waste facility and nuisance complaints.

Board of Health · Meeting of April 8, 2026

MILLBURY — Board of Health approves March minutes, discusses new waste facility. The board unanimously approved the prior month's meeting minutes and received updates from the Director of Public Health on Wasted, a porta potty recycling business opening at 50 Howe Avenue; permits have been issued, though the office flagged potential noise and odor concerns. The board also addressed complaints about the UMM/Win-Waste facility on Route 20 and a rooster complaint, which resulted in the owner agreeing to purchase a rooster collar.

Updated transfer station fee changes for residents age 65 and older are pending board approval, with new regulations booklets set to distribute in mid-May alongside new transfer stickers.
