SCHOOLS

Millbury Public Schools' Raymond E. Shaw Elementary School flagged adjusted summer office hours, with the main office open limited hours in recent days as staff manage lost-and-found and administrative tasks over the break, according to the district's website. The district also opened registration for the sixth-grade Nature's Classroom trip planned for this fall, with forms accepted at Shaw Elementary on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or by email.

The School Committee is scheduled to meet Thursday, July 9, per the town calendar.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Millbury Public Library's Summer Reading program is underway, having kicked off June 22 with a petting zoo event on June 23 and a murder mystery program on June 24 for participating age groups.
