MILLBURY — Council on Aging approves prior minutes, hears operational expansion update. Chairperson Nancy Pratt and five members approved the January minutes unanimously, as Director Laurie Keefe reported the Senior Center fully reopened with two sold-out parties and waiting lists exceeding 20 people. Bank Hometown donated $25,000 for fuel assistance, providing eligible residents $350 toward home heating.
The council is implementing resident-priority registration for events and pursuing Senior Center Certification for Director Keefe, Program Administrator Joshua Ryan, and staff to earn credentials in professional standards and best practices.
