MILLBURY — The Millbury Council on Aging unanimously accepted prior minutes and received updates on facility improvements and expanded services. Director Laurie Keefe reported completion of the Senior Center's roof and reception window projects, with the window moved down six inches for ADA compliance. May programming drew strong participation including a sponsored Mothers' Day event.
Transportation services expanded with the first medical appointment trip on May 14th, with additional rides scheduled for June and July. The board expressed full support for Director Keefe's decision-making, affirming that all choices are made in seniors' best interest. Final SIG grant reporting is due July 10th, and staff are evaluating the next round of grant opportunities.
