Finance Committee approves $6.4M debt figure for FY27 budget.

Millbury Finance Committee unanimously approves $6.4M debt for FY27. Chairperson Charles Cooper and members voted to recommend the figure after Chief Financial Officer Katie McKenna reported that a $15.5 million school roof project had been finalized with $465,000 in interest costs on short-term borrowing at 3 percent. The Committee rescinded its previous budget vote and adopted the revised debt recommendation unanimously.
Town Manager Karyn Clark thanked the five present members and McKenna, who joined the town in January, for their work preparing the budget for Town Meeting.
