MILLBURY — Finance Committee reviews Millbury department budgets, focuses on new Facilities position. The committee heard proposals from Public Works (18 full-time staff, fully staffed), Sewer (16 pump stations, $6 million stabilization fund, 4 percent drop in Upper Blackstone Assessment), and Facilities, where a $70,000 full-time Assistant Director position would be split 85 percent General Fund, 15 percent Sewer. Vice Chair William Pratt requested documentation of budget savings before supporting the motion.

The Capital Improvement Plan totals approximately $2.6 million for FY27, including replacement of a 2014 School truck with structural problems.
