Millbury Launches GetSetUp Digital Literacy Program for Seniors
MILLBURY — The town has launched a new digital literacy initiative for older residents through GetSetUp, an online platform that lets seniors take live and on-demand tech classes alongside other older adults, according to the town's official News Flash.

The town announced the new senior-focused digital literacy effort this week, pointing residents to GetSetUp as a resource for learning technology skills in a live, peer-based setting. The program is aimed at helping older Millbury residents build comfort with smartphones, computers and other digital tools through classes offered on-demand or in real time with fellow seniors.

The Millbury Public Library's summer reading program remains open to all ages through August 8, with readers earning prizes and able to register separately for special events tied to the program. The library has also flagged a media-literacy feature on its site, "How to Spot a Fake," pointing patrons toward NewsGuard resources on identifying AI-generated images and misinformation online.
