Millbury School Committee unanimously approves $28M FY27 budget with 4.62 percent growth. Superintendent Gregory Myers presented a revised budget incorporating $270,109 in reductions, avoiding deeper cuts sought by the Town Manager, and the Committee voted unanimously to accept it, along with approval of GAGE Construction for the $3.57 million Elmwood Street School roof project and a prequalified vendors list for the Jr./Sr. High School roof replacement.
The Committee also unanimously approved the 2026-2027 school calendar, delaying opening to September 2 to accommodate pending HVAC work.
