Millbury Selectmen approve FY27 budget framework for May finalization. Town Manager Karyn Clark walked the board through demographics, revenue, state aid, capital improvements, and individual warrant articles at the March 10 meeting, with the complete budget slated for presentation May 5. The board unanimously accepted $75 in memorial donations to the Fire Department Gift Account, $50 from Michael Stacy in memory of Raymond Hobin Jr and $25 from Amelia Piermarini in memory of Paul Defresne.
Directors Victor Panak and Kevin Krassopoulos provided updates on clean energy facility permitting regulations and Community TV cable access, respectively. Chairperson Mary Krumsiek received an honorary quilt from Hearts and Hands. The board then entered executive session to discuss contract negotiations with the Town Manager and Police Chief.
