Millbury Sewer Commission approves drainlayer license renewal and hears sewer connection application. Chairperson Gary Nelson and fellow members Happy Erickson Jr. and Richard Green voted unanimously to renew the drainlayer license for Scott E. Barrows of Barrows Paving & Excavating LLC and to hear the sewer connection permit for 55 Park Hill Avenue.
The commission addressed a dispute over a $7,500 betterment assessment issued to 4 Cooper Road property owners, who claim sewer costs were covered in their development agreement; the commission will consult Town Council on whether it has authority to abate the assessment before responding to the owners.
