MILLBURY — Town Manager Screening Committee approves professional search firm to recruit candidates. The committee voted 8 to 1 on June 1 to hire a recruiter, with Vice Chairperson Mary Krumsiek directed to contact firms; funding will require Select Board and Finance Committee approval, with estimated cost between $12,000 and $13,000. Only member Judith O'Connor opposed.
The committee also agreed to review qualifications used by other municipalities to inform the town's own job description standards.
