Millbury Certifies September Primary Results as Drought Status Normal
MILLBURY — The town posted official results from the September State Primary this week, while state environmental officials declared the Central Region's drought conditions back to normal, effective September 10, easing water-use concerns heading into fall.

Millbury's News Flash feed posted the town's official results from the September State Primary this week, giving residents a certified record of the vote.
Separately, the Central Region's drought status has returned to normal conditions. Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Rebecca Tepper made the declaration as of September 10, according to the town's News Flash, easing water-use restrictions that had been in place across the region.

Millbury Public Schools opened sign-ups for the Shaw/Elmwood Woolies Fun Run, with organizers setting a $35,000 goal to fund field trips and classroom enrichment, according to the district. Students who sign up receive a prize, the district said.
Sixth-grade families are preparing for this week's Nature's Classroom trip. The district sent home a packing list and noted daytime temperatures are expected to run 58 to 61 degrees with a chance of rain. Elementary families were also reminded that Picture Day is coming, with details in a flyer sent home.

Millbury's Farmers Market continued at the Asa Waters Mansion on September 17, offering local wares and live entertainment, the town said.
The Millbury Public Library's Senior Center tech series continues this month, pairing drop-in help hours, staffed Monday through Saturday, with themed sessions on phone settings, online safety and artificial intelligence for residents who want one-on-one instruction.
