Millbury schools offer holiday assistance sign-up

Millbury Public Schools announced Oct. 26 that families at the Shaw school who need assistance with the holidays can request help through a form due by Monday, Nov. 16.

The district said the approaching holidays can bring stress over affording gifts and enough food, and noted that local organizations and individuals have stepped up to help. Those supporters "can help by providing a complete Thanksgiving dinner and gifts for children," the school said in the announcement.

Families needing help with a Thanksgiving meal or gifts for their children are asked to complete the form by the Nov. 16 deadline. The announcement did not specify how families can access the form beyond completing it by that date.
