Planning Board sponsors Floodplain Overlay District amendments for fall meeting

Planning Board · Meeting of June 8, 2026

MILLBURY — Planning Board votes to bring floodplain overlay into state compliance. The Millbury Planning Board voted 5-0 to sponsor amendments to the Floodplain Overlay District for the fall town meeting, aiming to comply with current state and federal requirements. Planning Director Victor Panak explained the town is currently not compliant and the amendments will update the bylaw without changing flood maps.

The board also continued the public hearing for 100 Riverlin Street's site plan review to July 13, 2026, and approved extended operating hours for a cannabis dispensary at 12 Latti Farm Road.
