Millbury Announces Early Voting Schedule for September Primary

MILLBURY — Millbury's Town Clerk's office posted updates this week on the September State Primary, including a change affecting one polling location and a new in-person early voting schedule, giving residents fresh details to plan around ahead of the vote.

TOWN HALL

The town's News Flash feed carried two election-related notices in the current cycle: an update on the polling location for the September Primary and a schedule for in-person early voting ahead of the state primary. Neither notice included the specific location change or full voting dates in the preview text, so residents planning to vote should check the town's election page for the finalized details before primary day.

On the meeting calendar, the Sewer Commission and the Board of Selectmen are both scheduled to meet Tuesday, August 11, while the Board of Health's Wednesday, August 12 meeting has been cancelled.

SCHOOLS

Millbury Public Schools has scheduled a School Committee special meeting for Wednesday, August 12, according to the district's calendar.

The Millbury Public Library has added new offerings for August, including a Saturday drop-in tech help session staffed by the library's "Digital Navigators" and a series of workshops covering artificial intelligence and Microsoft Office use. The library is also running AI-literacy sessions on Tuesdays throughout August, teaching residents how to spot AI-generated photos using a checklist adapted from NewsGuard.

Separately, Millbury's Farmers Market continues at the Asa Waters Mansion on August 20, featuring local vendors and live entertainment, according to the town's News Flash.
