MILLBURY — The Millbury Conservation Commission approved a MassDOT roadside herbicide plan and continued hearings on an animal hospital expansion and a Nicole Drive wetlands case. Members unanimously issued a positive 2A determination allowing MassDOT to spray herbicides along Route 20, Route 146 and I-90 after Conservation Agent Donald R Flynn said he had "no issues with the delineations proposed." The commission continued Riverland Animal Hospital's 211 Riverlin Street notice of intent to September 2 after Flynn raised concerns about a proposed drilled well and missing wetland flags, warning "it's mostly the installation of the well that would... be an impact." The board also closed out a years-old Wildwood Road compliance case, ratified enforcement orders for 34 Nicole Drive and 61 Davis Road, and approved a $14.99 Trails Committee invoice. Resident Christopher Polselli told the commission "I do want to put on the record that I care about my land."
