Conservation panel continues six cases to Sept. 16
Conservation · Meeting of September 2, 2026
Millbury Conservation Commission continues six hearings, closes one, at packed Sept. 2 meeting. Chairman Jeffrey Raymond and Conservation Agent Flynn pressed 56 Davis Road applicant Chris Boria over an undocumented stone wall built inside the wetland buffer zone, telling him "we cannot tell what you have and haven't done" without updated plans. The board unanimously closed a septic-repair hearing at 1,000 Gover Road for homeowner Joanne, represented by engineer Grace Davidson of Civil Site Engineering.
Hearings for a 211 Riverlin Street animal hospital, a 49 Davis Road accessory dwelling unit, 9 Bayberry Lane, and New England Power Company's 17-municipality E5/F6 transmission refurbishment were all continued to September 16, the latter after BSC Group's Teresa Portante flagged a wetland mitigation site of just 135 square feet that may be relocated to another town. DEP also flagged a possible riverfront-alteration threshold issue on the ADU project. Comments on the power line filing are due to the commission by September 14.
