MILLBURY — Board of Selectmen approves sewer pump station land purchase with one abstention. Chairwoman Mary Krumsiek abstained from the 4-1 vote to acquire Parcel A for the sewer pump station replacement project, while Vice Chair Brian Sora, Clerk Nicholas Lazzaro, Brian Tagg, and Michael Gilchrist voted in favor. The board unanimously adopted the Environmentally Preferred Purchasing Policy on final reading and accepted donations totaling $7,100 to the Asa Waters Mansion Gift Account from AllCare Medical Supply and Maureen Army, plus $250 to the Senior Center Gift Account from Nick Lazzaro Campaign Funds.
Sargent Gasco was recognized for his service to the Millbury Police Department.
